Apply now! **About the Role** ------------------ As a Fixed Asset Accountant within Essity’s Global Business Services (GBS) Finance organization, you will manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets while ensuring compliance with IFRS, tax, and statutory regulations. Your work will support investment decisions, accurate reporting, and smooth financial operations. You’ll collaborate closely with controllers, project managers, and cross\-functional teams to deliver high‑quality asset accounting services. **What You Will Do** -------------------- * **Asset lifecycle management:** Perform daily fixed asset accounting activities including capitalizations, transfers, impairments, and scrappings. * **Period\-end closing:** Execute depreciation runs, reconcile asset accounts, and prepare period‑end asset reporting. * **Asset register \& inventory:** Maintain an accurate fixed asset register and support physical inventory verification. * **Leasing \& insurance:** Handle IFRS 16 lease accounting and support insurance value calculations. * **Compliance \& controls:** Ensure adherence to Key Internal Controls (KICs) and support internal/external audits. * **Business partnering:** Provide accounting expertise to controllers and project managers in capex processes. * **Continuous improvement:** Resolve Service Desk requests and contribute to global accounting initiatives. **Who You Are** --------------- * Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent. * Minimum 2 years of hands‑on accounting experience, ideally in fixed asset accounting. * Proficient in SAP ECC or S/4HANA and MS Office 365; RPA experience is a plus * A diligent, analytical, and collaborative team player with strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. * Fluent in English both written and spoken.
