Job Description:
We are currently looking for an Accounting and Controlling Intern to join CarboCode’s Technology Transfer Center.

This opportunity corresponds to a 6-month professional internship, co-financed by IEFP, aimed at integrating and developing young professionals in a dynamic and innovative technological environment.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will join a multidisciplinary team in Cantanhede and support the development and implementation of the internal control system, with a focus on budgetary management, reporting of R&D expenses, implementation of ESG policies, and optimization of information flows.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for activities related to the implementation of the internal control and management control systems.
  • Proactively contributes to the implementation of a cost accounting system and the procedure for reporting R&D expenses.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the budget management and reporting system.
  • Contribute to management best practices and data analysis procedures.
  • Participate in the implementation and maintenance of ERP and other enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate on projects to optimize the flow of information across different departments.
  • Prepare technical documentation and user manuals when required.

Role Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and advanced Excel skills
  • Eligibility for a professional internship under IEFP regulations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus (e.g. CentralGest).
  • Proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently.
