Application Functional Support

This is your mission

Are you passionate about functional application support in financial markets? Then this position is for you.

As an Application Functional Support Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance and functional reliability of a critical booking application used within Asset Liability Management & Treasury (ALMT). You will act as a key bridge between business users and IT teams in a production environment.

Build side:

• Participate in functional and technical analysis of incidents and change requests
• Collaborate with project and development teams to improve application functionality
• Contribute to release management activities and deployment coordination
• Suggest and help implement automation to reduce repetitive manual tasks
• Update and improve support documentation and user guides

Run side:

• Provide functional and technical support for the production booking application
• Manage incidents and service requests using ITIL best practices
• Support Front Office and Middle Office users across the EMEA region
• Monitor application stability and ensure production continuity
• Act as an interface between end-users, production, development and business analyst teams

This is your background

You have at least 3 years of experience in demanding application support or production environments, ideally within financial services. You enjoy problem-solving, working close to business users, and operating in high-availability production contexts. You are motivated by environments where functional understanding and technical skills go hand in hand.

You are looking to grow as a functional support expert within complex financial systems, deepening your exposure to treasury and financial markets applications while working closely with IT and business stakeholders in an international environment.

• SQL
• Unix / Linux environments
• ITIL processes
• ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools
• Financial Markets knowledge (transversal products)
• Functional support of business-critical applications
