What You’ll Do
As a Bartender, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience, crafting high-quality drinks while delivering engaging and attentive service. You’ll combine technical skill with personality, ensuring every guest enjoys not just their drink, but the atmosphere around it. From classic cocktails to signature creations, you’ll represent a culture of quality, energy, and genuine hospitality.
Your Main Responsibilities
Guest Interaction & Bar Service
Welcome guests at the bar with a friendly and professional approach, creating a relaxed and engaging atmosphere.
Take drink orders efficiently, offering recommendations based on guest preferences and taste profiles.
Build rapport with guests, ensuring they feel valued and well taken care of throughout their visit.
Drink Preparation & Presentation
Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
Ensure consistency, quality, and speed in every drink served.
Maintain an organized and clean bar area at all times.
Product Knowledge & Expertise
Develop in-depth knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
Stay updated on seasonal menus, specials, and new drink offerings.
Confidently explain ingredients, preparation methods, and flavor profiles to guests.
Order Management & Coordination
Manage bar orders efficiently, including those from the service floor.
Coordinate closely with waitstaff to ensure smooth and timely delivery of drinks.
Use the POS system accurately for all orders and transactions.
Upselling & Guest Experience
Promote premium spirits, signature cocktails, and pairings when appropriate.
Enhance the guest experience through personalized recommendations and attention to detail.
Safety, Compliance & Hygiene
Check identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (including HACCP).
Monitor alcohol consumption and act responsibly to ensure guest safety.
Time Management & Efficiency
Handle high-volume service periods with speed and accuracy while maintaining quality.
Prioritize tasks effectively to keep service flowing smoothly.
Teamwork & Communication
Collaborate with floor staff, kitchen team, and management to ensure seamless service.
Attend pre-service briefings to stay aligned on specials, events, and service expectations.
Communicate clearly and professionally at all times.
Setup, Clean-down & Stock Control
Prepare the bar before service, including restocking, prepping garnishes, and organizing tools.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages when needed.
Clean and close down the bar area according to procedures at the end of service.
Billing & Payments
Handle transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
Follow all financial procedures to ensure accountability and accuracy.
Brand Representation
Maintain a polished, professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
Deliver service that reflects high standards of hospitality, energy, and consistency.
Act as an ambassador of the venue’s identity and values.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar service techniques.
Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality and guest interaction.
Team-oriented mindset and professional presentation.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Pagamento: 1 400,00€ - 1 600,00€ por mês
