King's College School, Cascais, part of the prestigious Inspired Education Group, is a leading international school in the Lisbon area. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated Bilingual English Teacher to deliver a high-quality, integrated English-Portuguese curriculum.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Teach engaging English lessons, fostering literacy, reading, and writing skills.
  • Collaboration & Pedagogy: Partner with Portuguese teachers to provide a cohesive bilingual experience, using assessment data to differentiate instruction.
  • Classroom & Pastoral Care: Foster a safe, stimulating, and positive environment, supporting student well-being and development.
  • Community: Engage with parents and participate in school life.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Qualifications: A recognized teaching qualification (BEd, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Experience: Proven primary teaching experience, ideally in an international school.
  • Language & Tech: Native or near-native English proficiency and competence in educational technology.
  • Attributes: Excellent communication skills, a collaborative, proactive mindset, and a commitment to inclusive education.
