We are looking for a Business Analyst to work as part of an agile development team for some projects on the retail, fashion and e-commerce fields . A significant change roadmap is planned for this year to deliver brand new digital propositions, optimise existing user journeys across the funnel as well as modernisation of the underlying ecommerce architecture, APIs \& codebase.
This is a role with exciting potential to expand in breadth and depth of remit, providing day to day support of one or more engineering teams that will grow considerably through 2023, so experience of scaling up and helping to improve agile ways of working are also very relevant.
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and will be a champion for exceptional digital experiences for our client's customers and have a focus on quality, ensuring the delivery aligns with the needs of the business.
National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organisational needs: 15%- 25% estimated.
Requirements
A Business Analyst should possess a range of skills and abilities that enable them to understand business problems, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions that align with the goals of the organisation. Some of the key abilities that a Business Analyst should have include:
* Analytical skills: should be able to analyse large amounts of data and identify trends and patterns to gain insights into business problems.
* Communication skills: should be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, project managers, and development teams, to ensure that everyone understands the goals and objectives of the project.
* Problem-solving skills: should be able to identify and solve complex business problems using critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving techniques.
* Technical skills: should have a basic understanding of technology and software development processes, as well as the ability to work with developers and other technical stakeholders.
* Business knowledge: should have a good understanding of various business domains, including industry trends, regulatory requirements, and customer needs. Should have a good understanding of how organisations and their governance models are set.
* Organisational skills: should be able to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines, while also maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
* Interpersonal skills: should be able to work well with others, build relationships, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success.
Overall, a Business Analyst should be a well-rounded individual with a combination of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills to successfully navigate the complex world of business analysis.
