Job Description

• Monitor a portfolio of internal and external cloud‑hosted applications and solutions
• Drive the cloud migration program, moving workloads to internal cloud platforms
• Define and design cloud architecture solutions aligned with business objectives, security, regulatory, and technology strategy
• Support the Cloud pillar by overseeing the SaaS portfolio, assessing risk and maturity, and defining migration roadmaps
• Deliver architectural blueprints, design patterns, and reference architectures (Cloud Patterns, CI/CD, IaC) and promote reuse across projects
• Advise development teams on cloud‑native architecture, APIs, DevOps practices, data, AI/ML integration, and open‑source tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible)
• Define, enforce, and evolve cloud governance, including security standards, Secure SDLC (SCA, SAST, DAST), compliance, and cost‑management policies
• Stay current with cloud innovations, industry trends, and fintech developments
• Evaluate emerging technologies, support proofs‑of‑concept, and collaborate with internal and external partners
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues to keep migration programs on track
• Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to IT and senior business stakeholders
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and knowledge transfer within Architecture and Cloud teams
• Mentor junior architects and developers, fostering continuous learning and best‑practice adoption
• Participate in cross‑functional governance forums (API, AI ethics, fintech partnerships)
• Help define service levels and operational metrics for cloud‑based solutions

Qualifications

• Development and Solution Architectures (OOP, OOAD, Data, Middleware, Scalability, Resiliency) - Demonstrated experience in software and systems implementation & design and overall distributed systems architecture.
• Cloud platforms (one or more of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud) - Minimum 5 years designing, migrating and operating production workloads.
• Container orchestration & IaC (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform, Ansible) - Hands‑on implementation and architecture.
• Cloud‑native application design, micro‑services &‑driven architectures - Proven delivery in cloud environments.
• Secure Development Lifecycle (SCA, SAST, DAST, CSPM) - Experience embedding security tools in CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud Design Patterns & reference architectures - Ability to document and reuse patterns across projects.
• Governance & compliance (e.g. GDPR) - Demonstrated application in previous roles.
• Strong communication & stakeholder management - Written & verbal fluency for both technical teams and senior management.
• Fluent in English
