UBSI Europe, part of the Afifi Group, is expanding its presence in the European market and is looking for a senior, results-driven professional to lead the development of its bus and passenger transport business.
This is a key commercial role focused on market penetration, strategic account development, and long-term growth, across public transport, private operators, and tourism sectors.
The position is ideal for a candidate who combines strong commercial capabilities with deep industry understanding, and who is motivated to build and grow business activity in a dynamic and evolving market.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in the public transport, private fleet, and tourism sectors
* Lead commercial processes including tenders, RFQs, and long-term agreements
* Build and maintain strong relationships with transport operators, authorities, and key clients
* Promote the company’s full offering: buses, transport solutions, and after-sales services
* Manage the full sales cycle: from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and deal closure
* Develop and manage a structured and high-quality sales pipeline
* Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to support strategic decision-making
* Collaborate with internal teams (technical, after-sales, finance, logistics) to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction
* Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and business meetings
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Sales revenue and profitability
* Pipeline value and conversion rate
* Tender participation and success rate
* Customer acquisition and retention
Requirements
* Proven experience in bus sales, commercial vehicles, or passenger transport sector
* Strong knowledge of fleet sales processes and tender environments
* Fluent English (spoken and written) – mandatory
* Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Commercial mindset with a strong customer-oriented approach
* Ability to build long-term business relationships
* Independent, structured, and results-driven
* Proficiency in CRM / ERP systems and Microsoft Office
* Valid driving license
* Availability to travel frequently
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in public transport projects or mobility solutions
* Background in field sales and direct client engagement
* Knowledge of the European transport market
* Additional languages (Spanish, or others) – advantage
