Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contract Lifecycle Specialist to join our Revenue Operations organization. This role owes the end-to-end contract lifecycle after the initial deal is closed, managing all contractual changes, amendments, churn events, and renewals to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a seamless customer experience.
You will act as the operational owner of post-sale contract changes, partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal to ensure contracts remain accurate, up to date, and aligned with commercial intent throughout their lifecycle.
This role requires strong expertise in Salesforce, excellent attention to detail, and a deep understanding of SaaS subscription contracts and commercial operations.
Contract Lifecycle Ownership (Post-Sale Renewal)
- Own and manage all contract activity after initial deal close, including:
+ Contract amendments (products, quantities, pricing, term changes)
+ Upsells, downsells, partial churn, and full churn events
+ Renewal preparation, execution, and contract continuation
- Ensure all changes are accurately reflected in Salesforce and downstream systems.
Amendment & Change Management
- Review, validate, and process contract amendments in line with company policies and commercial approvals.
- Act as the operational bridge between Sales/CS and Legal for non-standard terms or escalations.
- Ensure amendments are correctly documented, versioned, and auditable.
Renewal Operations
- Manage the operational execution of renewals, ensuring:
+ Correct pricing, products, and contract terms
+ Alignment with previous amendments and customer entitlements
- Support Account Managers and Customer Success with renewal readiness and accuracy.
Salesforce & Systems Excellence
- Maintain high data integrity across Salesforce, including:
+ Contract records, renewal dates, terms, and product configurations
- Leverage Salesforce reporting and dashboards to track lifecycle activity, churn, and renewals.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within Salesforce and related tools.
Order & Commercial Review
- Review incoming orders, amendments, and renewal documentation for:
+ Pricing accuracy
+ Policy compliance
+ Contractual consistency
- Flag discrepancies and drive resolution before execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with:
+ Sales & Customer Success on contract changes and renewals
+ Finance on billing alignment and revenue accuracy
+ Legal on non-standard terms and contractual exceptions
- Act as the primary operational point of contact for post-sale contract questions.
Process Improvement & Governance
- Continuously evaluate and improve contract lifecycle processes to reduce friction and cycle time.
- Help define best practices for contract amendments, churn handling, and renewals.
Contribute to documentation, playbooks, and operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience :
Mandatory
- Strong expertise in Salesforce, including data management, reporting, and contract-related objects.
- Proven experience in contract operations, renewal operations, or commercial operations within a SaaS or subscription-based business.
- Solid understanding of:
+ Subscription contracts
+ Amendments and renewals
+ Commercial and revenue implications of contract changes
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contract workflows in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Preferred
- Experience with CLM tools or Salesforce CPQ.
- Familiarity with billing and finance system integrations.
- Knowledge of SaaS revenue models and churn mechanics.
- Fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
