**About the Role** ------------------ IT Labs is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our customer\-focused teams, supporting clients at the forefront of digital and data transformation. In this role, you'll architect and implement robust data platforms and solutions leveraging Databricks and Azure, enabling improved analytics, operational efficiency, and business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise with a strategic, hands\-on approach to designing and delivering scalable data systems. **What You Will Do** -------------------- * Design, build, and optimize scalable data architectures leveraging Databricks on Azure. * Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, models, and warehousing structures using industry best practices. * Collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs. * Lead the implementation of ETL/ELT frameworks, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance. * Guide the integration of new data sources and deployment of new capabilities. * Define and enforce data governance, data modeling, and management standards. * Troubleshoot data and platform issues to ensure reliable and high\-performing solutions. * Provide technical mentorship to junior team members on best practices and emerging tools. **Requirements** ---------------- * Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role. * Extensive hands\-on experience with Databricks and Azure data services (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory). * Expertise designing and implementing data pipelines, data models, and analytics architectures in cloud environments. * Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Scala for data engineering. * Familiarity with data governance, security, access control, and compliance in Azure. * Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and distributed systems. * Experience collaborating with cross\-functional and non\-technical teams. * Excellent problem\-solving, communication, and documentation skills. * Fluent English **Working Conditions \& Benefits** ---------------------------------- * Individual Contract or B2B Contract * PTO * Completely remote wok **Our values** We are a company that seeks the best for both our employees and clients, reaching beyond expectations in turning dreams into reality.
