We are hiring a Data \& Platform Architect ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Data \& Platform Architect to join our TechHUB in Lisbon!

You will define and lead the target architecture, standards and patterns for HAVI’s Azure and Databricks-based Data \& Platform landscape, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with strategic business needs. You will ensure solutions are secure, scalable, cost-efficient and supportable, and guide delivery teams to follow consistent architectural principles across ingestion, transformation, data products, governance and consumption.

THE SKILLS

To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:
* 8\+ years in data engineering or platform/data architecture, with deep experience designing solutions on hyperscalers (Azure preferred).
* Proven experience designing modern data architectures (Medallion architecture), data integration patterns, and data modeling approaches (Kimball, Data Products, Data Contracts and SLAs).
* In-depth expertise with modern data and ML platforms including Databricks, Azure DevOps, GitHub and dbt, with the ability to translate platform capabilities into

scalable architectural patterns.
* Strong knowledge of security and governance patterns: identity and access management (AAD/RBAC), secrets management, network controls, encryption, auditing, and data privacy.
* Experience defining non-functional requirements (availability, performance, scalability, DR, monitoring) and translating them into platform standards and reference implementations.
* Experience partnering with delivery teams to drive architecture adoption without slowing execution.
