WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Neural Nexus team at Amgen is helping accelerate an AI-driven transformation across the business. Within Neural Nexus, AI Data Enablement (AuRA) is focused on building scalable, governed, AI-ready data foundations and data products that power commercial analytics and AI use cases across Amgen.

In this vital role you will be responsible for the execution and delivery of AI-enabled data foundations and data products, supporting the build, operationalization, and management of scalable and reusable data solutions. You will own assigned workstreams end-to-end, ensuring solutions are implemented on time, meet quality standards, and drive measurable business value.

You, as our Data & AI Enablement Manager (AuRA), will partner cross-functionally with Global Customer Capability and Innovation, Technology, and Engineering teams to deliver trusted and reusable data assets aligned to business priorities. You will also support data stewardship, governance, and FAIR-aligned data practices to enable consistent, reusable, and business-ready data across AuRA.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead execution of AuRA data enablement workstreams from intake, design, and development through deployment and operationalization.
  • Deliver AI-enabled data products and pipelines that support commercial analytics and downstream applications.
  • Ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business requirements.
  • Coordinate readiness activities including user acceptance testing, access provisioning, documentation, and production handoff.
  • Implement and scale AI-ready data foundations within AuRA, integrating structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Build and manage reliable, scalable data pipelines with appropriate monitoring, logging, and versioning.
  • Support the development of reusable capabilities including data models, curated data layers, metadata, tagging and taxonomy frameworks, and data discoverability and access enablement.
  • Enforce data governance practices including data ownership and stewardship, data lineage and traceability, and role-based access controls.
  • Ensure adherence to FAIR principles and Clean Core alignment, and support data quality processes including quality control, master data management, and affiliation.
  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, including scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery health.
  • Partner with Commercial, CD&A, Analytics, Technology, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions and maintain execution alignment.
  • Support onboarding activities including training sessions, documentation, data product guides, and working sessions with end users to enable adoption and value realization.
  • Gather feedback from users and stakeholders and contribute to repeatable, scalable delivery frameworks for continuous improvement.
