Newly opened, Andaz Lisbon is an exciting luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital and represents a key milestone in Hyatt’s continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is the second Hyatt‑branded hotel in Lisbon.

Located in the heart of Lisbon’s vibrant Baixa district, along the city’s main pedestrian street, Rua Augusta, the hotel is spread across five distinct buildings, including the former headquarters of one of Portugal’s major banks, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI).

The central building houses 170 guestrooms, while the four surrounding satellite buildings offer a selection of exclusive private suites. As a unique Urban Resort in the city center, Andaz Lisbon invites guests to fully immerse themselves in the local culture and experience the true essence of Lisbon.

We are currently looking for a Waiter / Waitress to join our team at Luzzi, our signature restaurant at Andaz Lisbon.

Luzzi is more than a restaurant. It is a way of life and a destination in itself. Located on the top floor of Andaz Lisbon, Luzzi is inspired by modern Lusitanian cuisine (from which its name derives), a concept reflected not only in the menu, but also in its cocktails, colors, décor, and music. Every detail has been carefully curated to create a vibrant, sensorial, and memorable dining experience.

As a Waiter / Waitress, you will play a key role in delivering personalized, attentive, and high‑quality service that embodies the Andaz spirit and creates meaningful and memorable moments for our guests.

Responsibilities:

* Perform complete opening and closing duties for your station
* Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables
* Assist and guide guests throughout their dining experience, ensuring comfort and attentiveness
* Ensure all materials, equipment, and service tools are in excellent condition
* Monitor dining areas (lunch/dinner) to ensure availability, organization, safety, and guest well‑being
* Follow all company policies, procedures, and brand standards
* Maintain a polished, professional personal appearance in line with Andaz standards
* Protect proprietary and confidential information and safeguard company assets
* Monitor the guest experience throughout the meal, anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly
* Acknowledge and welcome all guests according to company standards
* Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues
* Answer phone calls using proper etiquette and service standards
* Build and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships
* Meet all quality assurance expectations and brand service standards

Qualifications

* Excellent verbal communication and professional presentation
* Strong customer focus and ability to personalize service
* Agility, attention to detail, and strong awareness of guest needs
* Knowledge of wines and gastronomy is a plus
* Team‑oriented, with good time‑management skills
* Ability to stay calm and courteous under pressure
* Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
* Previous experience in luxury hotels or restaurants, ideally within lifestyle hospitality
* Technical training or courses in hospitality, gastronomy, or related fields are a plus
