We are looking for an Events & Public Engagement Coordinator to join Fundação EDP and play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering events within both museum and corporate contexts.
This role is ideal for a dynamic professional passionate about creating enriching and innovative experiences for diverse audiences, ensuring operational excellence and actively contributing to the development of impactful cultural programming.
What you will do:
- Event Production and Logistics: Planning, organization, and execution of events in museum and corporate contexts, including activities aimed at different audiences (children, adults, and art-focused publics). Ensuring all logistical requirements are met, namely sound, image, projection, and space configuration (seated or standing), delivering a smooth, comfortable, and high-quality experience for participants.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordination of all stakeholders involved in events, including artists, speakers, mediators, and other collaborators. Ensuring clear and timely communication, making sure all parties have the necessary information to perform their roles effectively.
- Event Planning and Monitoring: Development of detailed plans for each event, including timelines, requirements mapping, and definition of contingency procedures. Supervision of setup, execution, and dismantling phases, ensuring objectives are met and any constraints are efficiently resolved.
- Post-Event Evaluation: Execution of evaluation processes based on feedback from participants and the team. Preparation of reports with results analysis, identifying strengths and improvement opportunities, contributing to the continuous improvement of programmes.

What we are looking for:
- Degree in Event Management, Communication, Cultural Management, Public Relations, or similar fields;
- Professional experience in event production, preferably within cultural contexts such as museums, galleries, or artistic institutions (nice to have);
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written);
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams;
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively coordinate different stakeholders;
- Basic technical knowledge of audiovisual equipment and logistical requirements for events;
- Flexibility in working hours;
- Ability to manage unexpected situations and resolve issues efficiently;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
