The Coordination FR, GER \& UK area of EDP GBS is seeking to recruit a professional to support the General Accounting process, specifically related to the accounting for solar renewable generation companies in France.

What you will do:

* Manage general accounting activities in accordance with French accounting principles.
* Record daily accounting transactions.
* Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and monthly balance reviews.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
* Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and notes to the accounts.
* Support tax filings and administrative deadlines.
* Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors.
* Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement within the accounting function

What are we looking for:
* Fluent French and English (written and spoken). Spanish or Portuguese are a plus.
* Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting roles.
* Strong knowledge of French accounting principles and IFRS.
* Good understanding of basic French tax requirements.
* Knowledge of Excel.
* High accuracy, reliability, and independence in managing tasks.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
