We're looking for a Communications Specialist (m/f/d) to join our dynamic GBS Western Europe & Africa (WEA) regional hub in Alfragide. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our communications strategy, crafting compelling narratives, organizing impactful events, and ensuring our messages resonate with GBS employees, customers, and stakeholders across the region.
Your mission will be…
- Create and manage engaging communication content for newsletters, intranet, email campaigns, presentations, and digital channels;
- Support leadership communications, including townhalls, key messages, and management updates;
- Develop strong storytelling around GBS values, achievements, and customer success stories;
- Plan and execute internal and external events, from concept through logistics and follow-up;
- Manage communication channels such as SharePoint, Teams, and Viva Engage;
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to align communication strategies with business priorities;
- Support change communication initiatives and track communication effectiveness through feedback and engagement metrics.
We are looking for someone with…
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, PR, Journalism, or similar;
- 5–8 years of experience in corporate communications, ideally in a multinational or business services environment;
- Fluent in English; Portuguese is a strong plus;
- Strong skills in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, newsletter/email tools like Yespress, and design platforms like Canva;
- Proven experience in event management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication;
- Strong writing, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Global Business Services, shared services, or corporate communications;
- Knowledge of social media, employee advocacy, change communication, and communication analytics;
- Experience in agile or matrix organizations;
- Additional European languages are a plus.
