Job Description

As an HR Business Partner in Lisbon you will play a dual role, combining business partnering responsibilities, with a strong involvement in HR governance with the regional Iberia team. You will act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers in Lisbon, while driving consistency, compliance, and efficiency across HR policies and processes in Portugal. This position provides a unique opportunity to develop both business partnering advisory and governance expertise within a structured international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to managers and employees, supporting organizational and people-related topics
  • Drive HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, offboarding, performance, and development activities
  • Ensure effective implementation of HR policies and compliance with internal frameworks, labour law, and audit requirements
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making and workforce planning
  • Contribute to the design, standardization, and continuous improvement of HR policies, processes, and frameworks
  • Support regional HR initiatives, including international mobility and cross-country alignment activities
  • Translate people data and insights into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders

Qualifications Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • +5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner (HRBP), including exposure to governance topics
  • Proven experience working in multinational organizations
  • Experience in HR governance and labour law, including HR policies, compliance, reporting, audits, and internal controls

Know-how

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management
  • Knowledge of labour law and HR compliance frameworks
  • Experience with HR systems (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors or similar)
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret HR metrics and workforce data
  • Experience with HR reporting and dashboards; proficiency in Power BI or similar tools is considered a strong plus

Languages

  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Spanish is a plus
