About us
We are establishing a new high-tech company in Portugal with a strong focus on the industrialisation and serial production of advanced client products. Our core business is to support customers in the fields of robotic and unmanned systems (ground, aerial, surface and maritime platforms), guiding their products from R\&D and prototyping through pilot production to serial and mass production. In parallel, the company is also developing its own products and technological solutions, which will be commercialised in later stages of growth.
About the job
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition. This person will manage the end-to-end hiring process and ensure a positive candidate experience while also supporting broader HR activities. This role partners closely with hiring managers to deliver high-quality hires and provide ongoing HR support across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Recruitment \& Talent Acquisition
- Own and manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical, engineering, and professional roles
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define candidate profiles
- Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to build strong candidate pipelines
- Conduct interviews and coordinate selection, evaluation, and offer processes
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies
- Ensure a high-quality and engaging candidate experience throughout the process
- Help build and document scalable recruitment processes as the team grows
* HR Generalist Responsibilities
- Support onboarding and integration of new hires
- Handle HR administration, maintaining up-to-date employee records and HR systems
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives
- Prepare HR reports and track key people metrics
Qualifications \& Skills
- Background in HR Management, Psychology, Sociology or a related field
- 3-5 years of HR experience with strong emphasis on recruitment
- Good understanding of recruitment best practices and sourcing techniques
- Experience in recruitment for high-tech, manufacturing, or industrial environments
-Previous experience in a scaling or start-up environment is a strong plus
- A builder mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and able to thrive through change
- Hands-on experience with ATS and HR systems
- Familiarity with visa applications, residence permit processes and compliance obligations
- Solid understanding of Portuguese labor law
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple roles at once
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
