We are a fast-growing group of Restaurants, currently operating in Portugal and Spain, with large international expansion plans.
In operation are:
Boa Bao in Lisbon, and Porto (PT) and in Barcelona (ES)
Boa kitchens in (Lisbon)
We are looking for an HR Manager in our Head office, located in Lisbon. If you like to work in a team with enthusiastic colleagues that like to work hard but laugh and enjoy their work and work environment at the same time, you could be our next new colleague.
The HR Manager will report directly to the Finance Director.
What will you do? The HR Manager will be required to execute the following responsibilities:
- Take care of admissions, contract changes, and separation, in compliance with internal procedures and legal requirements;
- Support the operation by intermediating in labour disputes and conflict management;
- Ensure a meticulous management of employee data and guarantee confidentiality and GDPR compliance;
- Oversee time and attendance (absences, leaves, vacations), and performing the payroll process;
- Ensure continuous optimization of workflows and methods;
- Manage disciplinary proceedings and ensuring fairness and legal compliance at all stages;
· Provide administrative and legal expertise across the organization;
- Maintain rigorous standard of employee data management and promote digitalization;
- Oversee medical exams and compliance with health and safety at work policies;
- Collaborate in the management of internal and external training, ensuring compliance with the legal obligation, surveying needs, drawing up the annual training plan, scheduling and logistical management of actions, recording attendance and evaluations, as well as ensuring the evaluation of effectiveness ;
- Ensuring the annual performance assessment of employees is carried out;
- Prepare the documents necessary to respond to legal requirements (Relatório Único, ACT Inspections, Monthly Surveys, etc…).
What are we looking for? For this role, we are looking for a person having the following skills and experience:
- 5+ of experience working in similar roles;
- Team oriented approach;
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to others;
- Strong organisation and time management;
- Self-motivated problem solver with positive and constructive can-do attitude;
- Experience in recruitment and selection, including writing job descriptions, identifying suitable candidates, conducting interviews, and making job offers;
- Full proficiency with Microsoft applications;
- Knowledge of ERP systems, processes and workflow technology;
- Fluency in English;
- Hands-on attitude and high attention to detail;
