St Peter's International School is a prestigious, top-ranked institution in Portugal, located on a modern 37,000 m² campus in Palmela, we serve a multicultural community of over 40 nationalities.

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Business Teacher to join our secondary faculty on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in the Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme (DP). This role is critical for ensuring students are well-prepared for their final assessments and maintaining academic continuity through May and June.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Examination Preparation: Provide intensive support and revision for students approaching their final IGCSE and IB DP Business Management exams.
• High-Quality Instruction: Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that foster critical thinking and real-world application of business concepts.
• Assessment & Feedback: Mark coursework, provide constructive feedback on Internal Assessments (IAs), and monitor student progress.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment consistent with the Inspired Education philosophy.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Business & Economics department to ensure curriculum consistency during the final term

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Education: A degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience teaching IB Business Management and/or Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies.
• Skills: Excellent command of the English language and strong digital literacy for integrating educational technology.
• Mindset: Flexible, dedicated, and able to step into a fast-paced international environment at short notice.
