About the role

At Pepco, we’re growing fast and building our Tech Hub in Porto to support our business across Europe.

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join the team. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating needs into clear, actionable requirements that drive impactful solutions.

What you’ll be doing

* Act as the main point of contact between business, product, and tech teams
* Gather, analyse, and define business requirements aligned with company goals
* Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to identify needs and improvement opportunities
* Create clear documentation (user stories, process flows, mock-ups, acceptance criteria)
* Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritise the backlog
* Support architects and development teams during solution design and delivery
* Prepare test cases and work with QA to ensure solution quality
* Assess impacts of changes, identify dependencies, and evaluate risks
* Support change management through training and communication materials
* Contribute to the Business Analysis community and continuous improvement of practices

What we’re looking for

* University degree; Business Analysis certification is a plus
* At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT environments
* Strong skills in requirements gathering, process modelling, and documentation
* Experience working with Agile and waterfall methodologies
* Understanding of product lifecycle and iterative delivery
* Knowledge of retail, customer journey, or omnichannel environments (nice to have)
* Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps or similar
* Basic technical knowledge (SQL, APIs, integrations, cloud – Azure is a plus)
* Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management
* Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in dynamic environments
* Ability to work with international teams across different locations
* Fluent English (mandatory)
