We are looking for a IT Manager to join the team of our client - water transport support activities setor.
What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?
- Manage Sys Admin Team (infra and applicational) & IT OPS 24/7 to deliver support to Operations on daily basis and project management.
- Coordinate internal and outsourced technical teams.
- Contract and vendor management for related partners.
- Budget management (OPEX and CAPEX).
- Data base management and projects coordination (regular optimization projects)
- Coordinate backups and restore procedures to the DB management system and to the DB's.
- Coordinate planned interventions defining the proper maintenance plan for IT Infra landscape
- Prepare and execute data copies between the environments (ex. Dev, Qua and Prod) upon request and according to the rules and procedures in place, or if inexistent according to the best practices.
- Support the development/data team activities at the DB level, whenever necessary.
- Plan and prepare activities to be executed by the operations services, namely the maintenance activities of the DB management and system upgrades (virtualization Infra)
- Identify, validate, and report the most impacting activities advising improvement changes to increase their performance.
- Coordinate the team in internal projects to optimize current landscape and future migration to Cloud environments.
- Work together thr local, regional, and global teams in projects with clean up proposals like Archiving Process from a database, jobs, and backups routines.
- Lead the analysis of integration and architectural needs for new solutions and maintenance of existing ones.
- Maintain the overall documentation in for the main layers of applicational, infra, networking and equipment.
- Manage the life cycle and inventory management.
- Foster internal people development and team growth throughout leadership by example and maintaining the IDP - Individual Development Plans updated an in line with team KPIs.
- Establish and maintain internal controls and routines (weekly meetings, shift reports, monthly presentations, and tickets controls) to implement a customer facing strategy to strength stakeholders and customers partnership.
- Provide guidance and leadership in the daily basis 24x7 OPS activities.
- Define clear team goals, delegating tasks and setting deadlines in line with IT department.
- Manage and control all IT support daily activities as a service.
- Guarantee L0 (Catch and Dispatch) will be daily-basis operations as critical to address business incidents and small enhancements.
- Make sure L1 (24x7 scope of work) will be immediately addressed following OLA (Operational Level Agreement) and SLA (Service Level Agreement) defined by process criticality.
