Do you have the profile we are looking for?

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (preferably within an international school environment);
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level; C1/C2 preferred);
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills;
• A caring, attentive and responsible approach to supporting children’s daily routines and wellbeing;
• Alignment with the Vision, Mission and Values of Colégio do Vale;
• Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills;
• A proactive, dynamic and enthusiastic attitude towards daily challenges;
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational team;
• Empathy and professionalism in relationships with pupils, families and colleagues;
• Emotional maturity, self-control and a high sense of responsibility;
• Flexibility and ability to adapt positively to changing needs within the school environment;
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development;
• Basic First Aid knowledge (preferred);
• Availability to support school events and activities occasionally outside regular working hours, including weekends.

How can you contribute to our team?

• Support children throughout their adaptation process, ensuring their emotional comfort, wellbeing and safety;
• Welcome pupils on arrival and accompany them to the appropriate learning environments;
• Ensure safe and organised dismissal procedures, handing children over to authorised family members;
• Organise and manage children’s personal belongings throughout the day;
• Communicate relevant daily information to the Pedagogical Team and families when required;
• Prepare meals, supervise mealtimes and promote children’s autonomy during routines;
• Support hygiene routines and encourage the development of healthy habits;
• Ensure classroom materials, tables and shared spaces remain clean, organised and ready for learning;
• Record relevant daily information on the Inovar digital platform;
• Provide active classroom support, working closely with the teacher during learning activities;
• Maintain an organised, welcoming and safe classroom environment;
• Supervise outdoor play and recreational moments, promoting positive interactions;
• Encourage play-based and educational activities that support children’s development;
• Ensure safety standards are consistently maintained and respond appropriately to incidents when necessary;
• Support pupils during before- and after-school periods;
• Apply First Aid whenever required.
