Junior Product OwnerCPA Analytics Platform for Longitudinal Patient Data [LRx])PortugalHome-based/Remote
As a Junior Product Owner, you will act as the Execution / Operative Product Owner for an analytics platform used to analyze longitudinal patient-level prescription data (LRx) across multiple countries. You will own the day-to-day product execution: managing the backlog, running operational prioritization, and ensuring predictable delivery in a Scrum setup (2-week sprints) for a global, \~10-person engineering team. You will work closely with the Senior Product Owner (strategic/vision ownership) and represent the product in operational forums when needed.
Key Responsibilities* Backlog ownership (operational): Maintain, refine, and prioritize the product backlog on an operational level; translate user needs into clear epics/user stories with acceptance criteria; ensure items are understood, implementable, and testable.
- Scrum execution & delivery management: Drive sprint readiness (refinement, grooming), support sprint planning, and manage scope, dependencies, and delivery risks; keep delivery transparent through structured reporting and status communication.
- Stakeholder & user enablement: Work directly with internal users (analysts; BD/Sales for feasibility) to capture requirements, improve onboarding, and continuously strengthen service/support and user experience.
- Data/tech collaboration: Partner with the technical lead/Scrum Master and the engineering team to ensure reliable implementation, including coordination around ETL/integration topics and platform operations (“keep-the-lights-on”).
- Quality & release readiness: Support definition of “done”, validate outcomes in demos, and ensure releases meet agreed expectations; collaborate on post-release follow-up to verify outcomes and learnings.
- Compliance-aware execution: Ensure delivery aligns with GDPR requirements and country/environment constraints (e.g., L2/L3 separation as applicable). (This is a role expectation based on your input; not sourced from the internal templates.)
What You Bring* Excellent analytical capability and comfort working with longitudinal patient data concepts (time series, cohorts, persistence, switching, adherence-style constructs).
- Strong SQL skills (advanced querying; ability to validate datasets, investigate anomalies, and support analytic workflows).
- Hands-on ETL understanding (pipelines, transformations, data quality checks, lineage basics).
- Excel-based analytics expertise including ODBC connectivity, PivotTables, and operational workflows that bridge database access with analysis outputs.
- Practical experience in Scrum delivery (or equivalent agile delivery) and the ability to keep a team moving with clarity and structure.
