Job Description
As AUTODOC continues to redefine the automotive aftermarket across 27 countries, we are expanding our Vendor Management team to further strengthen our supply chain and market competitiveness. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join us in Lisbon to enhance our partner relationships and ensure our operational efficiency remains the best in the industry. The fast-paced nature of our e-commerce growth requires a strategic approach to supplier coordination to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
As such, we are hiring a Junior Vendor Manager (f/m/d) who will act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned vendors. You will manage essential commercial negotiations, striving for improvements in pricing, bonuses, and SLA performance. Your work will involve identifying and onboarding new suppliers or SKUs in line with strategic priorities to boost our assortment, while meticulously monitoring supplier compliance and performance. From maintaining accurate master data to coordinating cross-functionally with Logistics, IT, and Finance to resolve claims and improve service levels, you will be at the heart of our operational excellence.
You will be working towards building a more resilient and diverse tech ecosystem, directly impacting our ability to deliver value to millions of vehicle owners. This is what you will do:
- Supplier Management: Act as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned vendors, coordinating all operational and commercial topics.
- Commercial Negotiations: Support improvements in pricing, bonuses, and SLA performance under senior guidance to drive profitability.
- Assortment Growth: Identify and onboard new suppliers or SKUs in line with priorities to strengthen our market competitiveness.
- Performance Monitoring: Track supplier compliance and performance against agreed commercial terms, resolving any discrepancies or risks.
- Operational Excellence: Coordinate regular touchpoints with suppliers, ensuring the execution of agreed actions and tracking follow-ups.
- Data Integrity: Maintain and update supplier master data, including pricing and commercial conditions, within our internal systems.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Support logistics and operations on shipment performance and claims handling to improve overall service levels.
Qualifications What you will need to succeed:
- A degree in Economics, Management, or a related field (an MBA is a plus).
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar area, specifically within online business or e-commerce.
- Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets to interpret performance and pricing data.
- A solid understanding of procurement and supplier management fundamentals, including assortment logic and price positioning.
- Basic negotiation skills and a clear grasp of commercial terms (pricing, discounts, bonuses).
- Professional proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
- A proactive mindset with high attention to detail, specifically regarding master data and contracts.
Nice to have:
- Experience or strong knowledge within the Automotive Aftermarket sector and Auto Parts Manufacturers Brands.
- Knowledge of legal aspects related to commercial agreements.
- Knowledge of German or Russian language is a plus.
