We are a New York Style Deli in Estrela (3 mins from the Garden) and after a great first few months, we’re ready to bring on a "main guy" to lead the kitchen and grow with us.
We have a half-open kitchen and a small team that likes to push hard but have fun doing it. At our size, your impact will be huge, we consider everyone who joins not just as an employee, but as a partner. We want to share our success with the people who help build it.
What you’ll be doing
This is a Lead Role, so you’ll be running the show behind the counter:
* Kitchen Management: Manage supplier relationships and oversee all prep/supplies.
* Food Prep: Handle daily prep and assembly (mainly cold kitchen, some baking involved).
* Standards: Oversight and implementation of HACCP basics.
* Optimization: Help us improve our processes using your experience.
* Service: Support the team with customer service in our open-kitchen environment.
What we’re looking for
* A friendly, positive person with good communication (English and Portuguese).
* Real experience in a café or kitchen—we need someone who knows their way around a workspace.
* A "lead" mindset: someone reliable who takes pride in an organized, clean station.
* Someone available to start right away.
The Offer
I want to make sure you have the stability you're looking for:
* Schedule: Static day schedule (Wednesday – Sunday).
* Total Take-Home: €1,250 Monthly (Split as €1,050 bank transfer \+ €200 meal card).
* Environment: A small, energetic team where your work actually matters.
Location: Estrela, Lisbon.
