What You’ll Do

As part of the Mona Verde kitchen team, you’ll contribute to the preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, professional environment. Depending on your level of experience (1st, 2nd, or 3rd Cook), you will take on responsibilities ranging from leading sections and ensuring quality control to supporting preparation and learning core kitchen skills.

All roles share one goal: delivering consistent, well-executed food while maintaining efficiency, cleanliness, and strong teamwork during service.

Your Main ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & Cooking

Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to Mona Verde recipes and standards.
Support different stages of food preparation, from basic prep to full execution during service.
Ensure all dishes meet quality, taste, and presentation expectations.

Section & Service Support

Depending on your role level, support or lead a kitchen section during service.
Assist in maintaining smooth workflow and timely delivery of dishes.
Coordinate with other kitchen stations to ensure order accuracy and speed.

Mise en Place & Organization

Prepare ingredients and stations before service to ensure efficiency.
Keep your workstation stocked, clean, and well-organized at all times.

Quality, Consistency & Menu Knowledge

Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods.
Ensure consistency in portioning, plating, and presentation across all dishes.
Follow recipes and chef instructions precisely while contributing to improvements when appropriate.

Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

Follow all HACCP and food safety standards strictly.
Maintain cleanliness across all kitchen areas and equipment.
Ensure safe food handling and storage at all times.

Teamwork & Communication

Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
Communicate clearly about timing, stock levels, and any service issues.
Support a positive, respectful, and efficient team environment.

Prep, Closing & Maintenance

Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and storage.
Help with stock rotation, waste control, and basic kitchen maintenance.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in a professional kitchen (level depends on position: junior to senior).
Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn or lead depending on role.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy service periods.

Pagamento: 1 500,00€ - 1 800,00€ por mês
