About the Job

We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist who combines strong machine learning expertise, production engineering experience, and technical leadership. This person will help design, deploy, and scale data science solutions across the organization while supporting best practices across the team.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong SQL expertise, with extensive experience using Snowflake or similar data platforms
- Advanced Python programming skills, including strong knowledge of Pandas, Scikit-learn, data analysis, and feature engineering
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar
- Experience building production ML pipelines and scalable data workflows
- Familiarity with modern MLOps and cloud tooling, including MLflow, feature stores, AWS SageMaker, and Amazon S3
- Strong knowledge of supervised learning, recommendation systems, and time series forecasting
- Ability to research, evaluate, and improve ML models based on business needs
Software Engineering & MLOps
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including Git workflows, pull request reviews, CI/CD, Docker, testing, data integrity validation, and dependency/environment management
- Experience writing clean, maintainable, and production-grade code
- Ability to balance experimentation with production reliability and long-term scalability
Leadership & Collaboration
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience mentoring teammates and promoting knowledge sharing
- Ability to lead technical discussions and drive engineering best practices across the team
