Description

This role is responsible for designing, governing, and evolving the organization’s Active Directory ecosystem. You will act as the technical authority for Tier 0 identity infrastructure, ensuring security, resilience, and scalability of directory services while providing expert guidance and troubleshooting for complex incidents.

Requirements

* Deep expertise in Microsoft Active Directory architecture
* Strong knowledge of Kerberos, LDAP, AD replication, DNS, and PKI infrastructures
* Experience with Group Policy design, tiering models, and Microsoft security baselines
* Experience in hybrid identity environments, including Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD and Entra Connect synchronization
* Ability to provide expert-level troubleshooting for authentication and directory-related incidents
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
* Experience in large enterprise AD environments is a plus
* Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and identity security frameworks is a plus

Responsibilities

* Design and maintain Active Directory architecture and identity infrastructure
* Define and enforce Tier 0 governance, security posture, and operational frameworks
* Architect and maintain Domain Controllers, PKI, DNS services on DCs, and Group Policy baselines
* Align AD architecture with Microsoft identity and security best practices
* Implement identity hardening measures and privileged access models
* Provide guidance to L2 AD administrators and validate operational procedures
* Participate in strategic infrastructure and identity transformation projects
* Troubleshoot complex authentication, replication, and directory-related incidents
* Manage hybrid identity integration between on-premises AD and Entra ID / Azure AD

Nice to have

* Experience supporting global enterprise AD environments
* Automation and scripting using PowerShell
* Knowledge of identity security frameworks and global identity operations
* Exposure to strategic IT infrastructure projects and transformation initiatives
