About the Opportunity

We are currently looking for individuals based in Funchal who enjoy meeting people from different cultures and sharing insights about their city in a natural and engaging way.

This opportunity involves accompanying small groups of visitors while they explore Funchal’s neighborhoods, culture, and local atmosphere.

Main Responsibilities

* Meet and accompany visitors during walking experiences
* Introduce local areas, landmarks, and points of interest
* Share general insights about culture, traditions, and daily life
* Adapt each experience depending on visitor preferences
* Create a welcoming and enjoyable environment

Profile

* Based in Funchal or very familiar with the city
* Good knowledge of local culture and main attractions
* Comfortable interacting with international visitors
* Fluent in at least one of the following: Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, or Chinese
* Friendly, communicative, and reliable
* Comfortable walking for several hours (typically 3–8 hours)
