We are a proud producer of RMC – a premium compact marble manufactured in Portugal since 1980\. We are based in Oliveira do Bairro and export our products to more than 30 countries worldwide.

We are currently looking for a Logistics Manager (M/F) to join our team of marble enthusiasts.

Main tasks:

* Manage inventory, as well as the warehouse, transport and other logistics processes;
* Manage suppliers and the corresponding logistics to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience;
* To establish partnerships and communicate with suppliers;
* Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction and financial commitments are met;
* Manage the internal logistics, transport and warehouse teams;
* Carry out metrics reports and data analysis tasks to identify problems and opportunities for process improvement;
* Develop new strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs;
* Create and manage logistics budgets;
* Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation;
* Ensure the entry and exit of goods and the valuation of stocks (entries, returns to suppliers, transfers between warehouses, transport to customers, overheads, markdowns);
* Ensure strict compliance with goods reception procedures, adapting processes to specific warehouse conditions;
* Prepare, monitor and improve action plans to correct operational deviations;
* Respond to and resolve complaints regarding the logistics process.

Requirements:

* Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field;
* Previous experience in supply chain management, with an emphasis on purchasing, logistics and warehouse management;
* Experience in cost reduction, supplier negotiations and working capital optimization;
* Excellent communication of English (mandatory);
* Strong leadership and team management skills;
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills;
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
