About the role

At Pepco, we’re growing fast and building our Tech Hub in Porto to support our business across Europe.

We are looking for a Loyalty Solution Architect to join the team. In this role, you will define and evolve the architecture of our Loyalty platform, enabling personalised customer experiences, campaign execution, and seamless engagement across channels.

What you’ll be doing

  • Design end-to-end solution architectures for loyalty and customer engagement capabilities
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, integration principles, and security practices
  • Support the Product Owner in shaping the roadmap and identifying key technical enablers
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure correct implementation of solutions
  • Maintain architecture documentation and contribute to governance and decision-making forums
  • Drive reuse of platforms, services, and components across the digital ecosystem
  • Evaluate new technologies, vendors, and approaches to continuously improve the domain

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Architecture certification (e.g. TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, SAFe) is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in solution architecture or technical leadership roles
  • Experience designing digital solutions in retail, e-commerce, or customer-facing platforms
  • Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and security models
  • Ability to balance long-term architectural vision with short-term delivery needs
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in an international and fast-paced environment
  • Fluent English (mandatory)
