We're looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our nearshore team , Portugal. In this role, you will serve as a catalyst for organizational agility, guiding cross-functional teams through Agile transformation while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. You will work with distributed teams across multiple time zones, ensuring seamless communication and efficient project delivery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

* Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and continuous process improvement
* Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, practices, and mindset to drive organizational adoption
* Remove impediments and blockers that hinder team productivity, working proactively to resolve conflicts and facilitate problem-solving
* Manage sprint backlogs and ensure proper prioritization of work items in collaboration with product owners
* Monitor team velocity, burndown charts, and other key metrics to analyze performance and identify optimization opportunities
* Mentor and support team members in their professional development and career growth within Agile environments
* Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other Scrum Masters to ensure alignment across programs and initiatives
* Organize and lead ceremonies with distributed teams across different time zones, maintaining engagement and participation
* Identify and communicate risks, dependencies, and escalation issues to leadership in a timely manner
* Champion Agile best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization


* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
* Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
* Demonstrated expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile methodologies
* Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar platforms)
* Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to influence without authority
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (written and verbal)
* Proven experience working with nearshore or distributed teams across multiple time zones
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
* Experience in identifying and resolving team conflicts and organizational challenges
* Familiarity with Agile transformation initiatives and change management
* Preferred: Advanced Agile certifications (SAFe, PSM II, or equivalent)
* Preferred: Background in software development, IT projects, or technology-driven organizations
* Preferred: Knowledge of Portuguese language
* Preferred: Experience mentoring and developing other Scrum Masters
