Ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of the Health & Safety Management System during the construction phase of a wind farm project, ensuring compliance with Portuguese legislation and project HSE standards.### Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on‑site activities: civil works, wind turbine installation and electrical works (MV/HV, substations)
• Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Plan (PSS)
• Prepare and review risk assessments, safe work procedures and Permit to Work (PTW)
• Coordinate HSE activities between contractors and subcontractors
• Perform safety inspections, identify deviations and implement corrective actions
• Investigate incidents and report HSE KPIs to the Project HSE Manager

Project Risk Exposure

• Working at height (wind turbines)
• Critical lifting operations (blades, nacelle, tower sections)
• Electrical risk (medium and high voltage)
• Heavy machinery and large‑tonnage cranes
• Adverse weather conditions, especially wind

Qualifications:

• Certified Senior Occupational Health & Safety Technician (TSST) or equivalent recognized in Portugal;
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese construction legislation (ACT, Decree‑Law nº 273/2003)
• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience on construction sites
• Experience in wind farms, substations, high‑voltage lines or large industrial projects
• Portuguese (mandatory) \| English (valued)
• Must reside in Portugal and have legal authorization to work in Portugal
