Daily rate: 315€/day

• Hybrid: 3x/week on site in Porto, Portugal

The Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for managing and optimizing mission-critical trading infrastructure at a global level, ensuring high reliability and performance across all environments.

The role also covers the efficient adoption of cloud-based services and requires direct collaboration with business leaders, software developers, and network engineers to continuously improve the trading platform's technology foundation.

Requirements

GOALS AND DELIVERABLES

• Oversee the trading infrastructure globally, ensuring uptime, reliability, and performance at all times
• Provide infrastructure expertise and technical support to the software development team
• Collaborate with the broader infrastructure team to align specific needs with Group policies and compliance requirements
• Automate repetitive infrastructure tasks to ensure consistency and efficiency across a heavily distributed environment
• Research emerging technologies and contribute to the definition of the technology roadmap

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Proven track record supporting mission-critical server infrastructure in production environments
• Hands-on experience with Linux system administration (RHEL, SLES or equivalent enterprise distributions)
• Experience with OS performance tuning in the context of low-latency applications
• Practical knowledge of virtualization and container technologies
• Background in server hardware management, data center build-outs, and OS migrations
• Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python and shell scripting

• Exposure to provisioning tools such as Ansible or Puppet is a strong asset
• Windows and NAS administration experience is a plus
