As our Privacy & Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating privacy and regulatory compliance across the company. You make sure Skyline stays ahead of its obligations, both at organizational level and at product level. You proactively monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on Skyline. You define and maintain a compliance strategy across relevant domains, and you implement, document, and maintain the internal procedures, policies, and controls that support it. You act as the single point of contact for compliance questions across the organization, support customer compliance inquiries and due diligence questionnaires, and maintain the records and documentation required under applicable regulations.

The main domains you will cover are data protection and privacy (e.g. GDPR), information security (e.g. Cyber Resilience Act), and AI and advanced software regulation (e.g. EU AI Act, open source compliance). Over time, this role can evolve to include additional compliance domains such as ESG reporting, employment regulation, and export controls.

Your [competencies]
================================

You'll be working in a highly technical environment prone to constant change and evolution. On top of that, you'll have to collaborate with a great many (marvelous) people. All very exciting! But it also calls for a special kind of mind- and skillset.

You have relevant experience in a privacy or regulatory compliance role, preferably in a technology or software company. Your academic background is relevant, whether that is a law degree, or a degree in information management, business, or a technical discipline combined with practical compliance experience.

You have solid working knowledge of data protection law and a pragmatic mindset. You look for solutions, not just boundaries. You work independently, manage multiple workstreams, and take ownership of your domain without waiting to be told. Experience in or exposure to the defense or cyber security industry is a plus. You are tech savvy and comfortable navigating a fast-evolving regulatory and technological environment.
