Our core business is to support customers in the fields of robotic and unmanned systems (ground, aerial, surface and maritime platforms), guiding their products from R&D and prototyping through pilot production to serial and mass production.
In parallel, the company is also developing its own products and technological solutions, which will be commercialised in later stages of growth.
Job Summary:
The Robotics Assembly Technician is responsible for hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly of robotic systems, including but not limited to unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), ground-based robotic platforms, and other electromechanical systems. This role covers the full assembly lifecycle, from mechanical installation and electrical wiring to initial testing, troubleshooting, and support of production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual mechanical assembly of robotic systems and subassemblies, including frames, housings, drive systems, actuators, and fastening hardware.
- Carry out electrical assembly tasks such as cable routing and harnessing, soldering, connector installation, and integration of sensors, motors, controllers, power electronics, and power sources.
- Integrate electrical and electronic components with mechanical structures.
- Assemble, configure, and perform basic setup of control systems and peripheral devices.
- Conduct functional testing of assembled systems, identify defects, and support troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Work according to technical documentation, including assembly drawings, electrical schematics, bills of materials, and work instructions.
- Provide continuous feedback to manufacturing engineers, production planners, and procurement teams regarding:
-component quality, reliability, and availability
-ease of assembly and installation
-recurring issues, defects, or inconsistencies
-recommendations for design and component improvements.
- Participate in the development, review, and improvement of assembly instructions, work procedures, and production documentation.
- Support training and onboarding of colleagues, sharing practical knowledge, best practices, and standardized assembly methods.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and internal production procedures.
- Support prototype builds, design iterations, and product modifications during R&D and production phases.
- Collaborate closely with design, hardware, and manufacturing engineers to optimize technical and production solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly and electrical wiring of electromechanical or robotic systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic test equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
- Basic knowledge of electronics (power distribution, signal lines, sensors, motors, controllers).
- High attention to detail, manual dexterity, and strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work with prototypes and low-volume or non-standard products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with UAVs, ground robots, or automated systems.
- Soldering skills (through-hole and basic SMD).
- Experience contributing to process improvements, documentation, or continuous improvement initiatives.
