YOUR ROLE* Design, set up, and manage a fully software‑defined network (including both hardware and software components) to ensure scalable, secure, and high‑performance operations. * Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes‑based infrastructure, ensuring resilience, reliability, and seamless integration with distributed systems. * Ensure that all network configurations and operations adhere to guiding security standards, with particular focus on IEC‑62443‑3 compliance. * Design hybrid and cloud networking architectures, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient connectivity across on‑prem, cloud, and edge environments. * Integrate software‑defined networking solutions within cloud‑native ecosystems, including Kubernetes and OpenShift.Build resilient network architectures, including high‑availability, load‑balanced, and fault‑tolerant network designs. * Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to secure networking layers, implement Zero‑Trust principles, and support enterprise‑grade security requirements. * Deliver technical leadership in network automation, programmability, and SDN‑driven architectures to support modern IT/OT applications. * Contribute to project milestones, provide expert technical input, and support cross‑functional initiatives across hybrid and cloud environments. YOUR PROFILE* Strong expertise in Software‑Defined Networking (SDN), including design, deployment, and operational management (e.g., VMware NSX, Cisco ACI, Open vSwitch). * Experience integrating SDN within cloud‑native, Kubernetes, and OpenShift environments, with practical knowledge of automation and SDN programmability. * Expert in designing and managing enterprise‑grade Kubernetes network infrastructures, including resilient, high‑availability network architectures. * Skilled in configuring and managing network equipment—switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers—within containerized and distributed infrastructures. * Strong understanding of network security, including Zero Trust architectures, secure segmentation, encryption (TLS/IPSec), firewall rules, and access control. * Familiarity with cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR. * Experience designing networking topologies for hybrid‑cloud deployments, ensuring seamless connectivity between Azure/AWS and on‑prem environments. * Competence in deploying secure VPNs, firewalls, and gateways to support hybrid connectivity and secure remote access. * Ability to work independently, provide technical leadership, and collaborate across IT/OT and cloud teams to deliver secure and scalable network solutions.
