Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and analytically strong SG&A Controller (m/f/d) to join our Group Controlling team. In this role, you will collaborate with several stakeholders across the organization in planning, monitoring, analyzing and reporting the Selling, General & Administrative expenses, ensuring cost transparency and supporting management with insights for decision-making. You will gain experience in a multinational team based in Germany and Portugal.

You will work closely with our business units to drive cost efficiency, improve forecasting accuracy, ensuring proper management reporting and support financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and report SG&A data
• Prepare SG&A reporting, including variance analyses vs. budget and forecast
• Support budgeting and rolling forecast processes for SG&A expenses
• Act as a business partner, providing cost transparency and recommendations
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, supporting in transition phase and efficiency improvements
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Develop and improve controlling tools and reports
• Ensure compliance with internal controlling standards and financial guidelines
• Supporting and streamlining of the general group reporting to our shareholders

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in controlling, finance, or cost management (SG&A focus preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP and BI systems (e.g. SAP, IBM PA) is a plus
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-finance stakeholders as well as in a multinational team
• Fluent in English
