Noesis is looking for candidates with the following profile:

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Analyze, tune and optimize Linux-based DB2 database environments to ensure performance and reliability;
• Maintain and improve core datasets supporting daily business operations;
• Ensure database solutions are scalable, efficient and responsive;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including developers, architects and operations teams;
• Support integration of DB2 environments with other enterprise systems.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology or similar experience;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DB2 database administration and troubleshooting;
• Experience working in high-performance and large-scale environments;
• Solid understanding of Linux administration (examples: SLES, CentOS) and virtualization environments (example: VMware);
• Experience with DB2 LUW and its integration with enterprise systems such as Siebel or Cognos;
• Strong knowledge of query and procedure optimization;
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
