Job Description
The Financial Data Processing unit is responsible for the production and reconciliation of Natixis' market activities' accounts, organized by product line. It ensures the quality of accounting reporting for economic transactions, reflected in front-office systems and managed in back-office tools.
Main tasks and goals:
You will join the team responsible for the daily control and monitoring of accounting production for a range of evolving products (commodities, listed derivatives, equity derivatives, etc.):
Key Responsibilities:
- Control and monitoring of daily reconciliations between Back-office management systems and the accounting database.
- Daily control of accounting production monitoring, processing of CRE and CRS rejections.
- Daily reconciliation of suspense accounts and deferred accounts, and resolution of discrepancies (manual accounting entries).
- Monitoring of the chart of accounts.
- Accounting testing work and documentation of products and processes for new products and accounting schemes modifications.
Qualifications* Degree in Accounting or related field.
- 5 years of experience in a accounting role.
- Knowledge banking accounting and more specifically of Market Products and associated IFRS standards
- Experience with Back-office applications (SUMMIT, SOPHIS, MUREX).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Rigor, responsiveness, autonomy, analytical and synthesis skills
- Good knowledge of English and French, both written and verbal.
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills
3 months training period in Paris and adhoc travelling.
