Role: Senior Functional Data Architect

Location: Hybrid, Lisbon, Portugal

Required skills:

• + Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Masters preferred)

+ 5+ years in data architecture, data modeling, or enterprise data management, ideally within complex multinational organizations.
+ Proven experience with enterprise data modeling, data platform architecture, and governance frameworks.
+ Hands-on expertise with MDM, data warehouses, and data lakehouse architectures (e.g., Medallion architecture).
+ Familiarity with data cataloging and metadata tools (Collibra, Alation, etc.).
+ Strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0, SQL, and cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
+ Understanding of data quality frameworks, privacy and compliance standards, and data lifecycle management.
+ Excellent communication skills able to bridge technical and business discussions across global teams.
