As a Senior Data Analyst – Corporate Finance \& Controlling, part of the Global FP\&A \& Performance Management team, you will assess and prioritize department data needs, design, develop, automate and maintain a scalable reporting landscape to improve performance, decision\-making, and continuous improvement across our network.
We are looking for a highly analytical and business\-oriented Data Analyst with solid corporate finance and controlling knowledge to support decision\-making in a multinational pharmaceutical organization.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working at the intersection of finance, operations, and data, with the ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful insights that reflect both financial performance and operational realities across markets, functions, and regions.**Your day at Ferring**
In this context, your main responsibilities will include:**1\) Reporting \& Controlling Dashboards*** **Finance \& Controlling Reporting**: Design, develop, publish, and maintain finance and controlling dashboards and reports covering the full Group. Leverage in\-house SAP expertise and capabilities to enhance the quality, efficiency, and relevance of local operational reporting.
* **Data Visualization \& Analysis**: Deliver high\-quality data visualizations and analytical insights to support Controlling activities. Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for decision\-making.
* **Reporting Standardization \& Automation**: Contribute to the governance, standardization, and automation of the reporting landscape across sites, markets, and functions. Support the definition and adoption of common KPIs, standardized templates, certified datasets, and comprehensive documentation.
**2\) Data Management*** **Data Quality \& Transparency**: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and transparency of financial and operational data across systems and reports.
* **Data Needs Assessment \& Prioritization**: Assess and prioritize business data needs, evaluate existing data sources, and translate requirements into clear analytical outputs. Manage and prioritize reporting and analytics requests accordingly.
* **Compliance \& Data Integrity**: Ensure adherence to data integrity, traceability, and access control requirements in line with regulatory and compliance standards applicable to a highly regulated environment.
**3\) Continuous Improvement \& Capability Building*** **Metrics Harmonization:** Support the harmonization of metrics, definitions, and reporting standards across markets and functions to enable consistent performance measurement.
* **Continuous Improvement:** Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and analytical workflows, monitor adoption of enhancements, and measure their business impact.
* **Capability Building:** Foster and develop a community of analytically skilled stakeholders, providing guidance and support to strengthen analytical capabilities at both global and local levels.

To carry\-out these tasks you will be expected to quickly adapt to the Ferring data management and reporting tools. You will be given an important autonomy to come up with design and improvement ideas but will be guided and supported by the team every step of the way.
Key expectations:* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
* 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in data analytics, corporate finance, controlling, or a closely related role.
* Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and maintaining controlling dashboards within an operational business environment.
* Strong technical expertise in data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard performance optimization.
* Highly developed analytical, critical thinking, and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from complex datasets.
* Proven ability to balance a holistic, enterprise\-wide perspective with strong attention to detail.
* Experience working in a multinational, matrix organization, collaborating effectively with cross\-functional global and regional stakeholders; pharmaceutical or life sciences experience is an advantage.
* Ability to understand and link operational drivers (e.g., commercial activities, supply chain, manufacturing) to financial performance and outcomes.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate data\-driven insights to both technical and non\-technical audiences.
* Strong data storytelling capabilities, enabling simplification of complex topics and effective influence on decision\-making.
* Demonstrated ownership mindset, characterized by autonomy, proactivity, a hands\-on approach, and a strong focus on delivery and results.
