In this role, you will ensure that solutions are **scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with both business objectives and technical standards**. You will act as a key bridge between business and technology, guiding delivery teams and stakeholders through architectural decisions and ensuring consistency across systems and platforms. ### **Responsibilities** #### **Architecture Design \& Strategy** * Translate **business requirements into clear technical architectures and solution designs**. * Define end\-to\-end architectures covering **applications, data, integrations, and infrastructure**. * Design systems using modern architectural patterns such as **microservices, event\-driven, and service\-oriented architectures**. * Ensure solutions are built with **scalability, resilience, and maintainability** in mind. #### **Architecture Artefacts \& Modelling** * Produce high\-quality **architecture artefacts**, including: + High\-level designs (HLDs) + Component and system diagrams + Interface specifications + Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) * Use standard modelling approaches such as **ArchiMate, UML, BPMN, or C4**. #### **Data, Integration \& APIs** * Define **data models, integration strategies, and API architectures**. * Ensure consistency and interoperability across systems and services. * Promote best practices in API design and lifecycle management. #### **Security, Compliance \& Governance** * Ensure **security\-by\-design and privacy\-by\-design** principles are embedded in all solutions. * Align architectures with relevant **compliance, governance, and data protection standards**. * Apply best practices related to **identity management, security frameworks, and data governance**. #### **Delivery Support \& Stakeholder Collaboration** * Provide continuous **technical guidance to delivery teams** throughout the project lifecycle. * Collaborate with **business stakeholders, developers, architects, and governance teams**. * Lead **architecture reviews**, supporting decision\-making with structured analysis and clear recommendations. ### **Requirements** * **7\+ years of experience** in software engineering and/or architecture roles. * Strong experience designing **distributed systems, cloud\-based solutions, and system integrations**. * Proven expertise with **microservices, APIs, event\-driven, or service\-oriented architectures** (mandatory). * Solid understanding of **security, identity frameworks, and data governance principles**. * Experience producing architecture artefacts using modelling standards such as **ArchiMate, UML, BPMN, or C4**. * Background in both **frontend and backend technologies** (e.g., Angular, Java Spring Boot, or similar). * Strong analytical thinking and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non\-technical stakeholders. * **Fluency in English (mandatory)**. * **EU Citizenship (mandatory)**. ### **Nice\-to\-have** * Architecture certifications such as **TOGAF or ArchiMate**. * Experience working in the **Public Sector**. * Exposure to complex governance or highly regulated environments.
