About the Job

The primary objective of the Strategy and Strategic Investments team is to be the strategic thought partner and advisor to the senior management of Global Markets and General Management of the Bank, to guide and support the management of the activity
The team has also the mandate to lead and manage the equity investments in companies that Global Markets makes (in Fintech for instance, or through M&A transaction like the deal with Deutsche Bank). The team is located in London, New-York, Hong-Kong, Paris and LisbonYour Main Activities Are

Analyze the competitive benchmarking environment of Global Markets to understand industry landscape, past and upcoming trend shifts, competitors’ business mix evolution revenue pool historical evolution, market and wallet share evolution
Support the preparation of deep-dive analysis on the performance of the business, products, regions and clients
Support the senior team members in strategic projects, Ad-hoc strategic presentations to management, regulators, processes of strategic relevance to the business, consolidating regular activity updatesProfile and Skills to Success

Recent graduate (or final‑year student) with a business‑related degree (e.g., Business Management, Finance, Economics) or an engineering programme (or equivalent)
Up to 1 year of exposure to banking, consulting, finance, or business‑management environments is desirable (internships, university projects, or relevant coursework) with an overall understanding of the financial markets’ world
Excellent written and spoken English skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
Resilient and collaborative mindset with cross cultural awareness in a fast-paced environment
Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex data sets and industry reports to provide detailed quantitative and qualitative data
Ability to put together well structured and easy-to-follow presentations, conveying the key messages and relevant findingsAbout The Team
