We are looking for a Tax Business Partner for Highgate Hotels in Portugal. The position may be based in Lisbon or Albufeira.

As a Tax Business Partner, you will lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area, delivering quality tax services that create value and preserve the group’s reputation. You will also act as a business advisor to internal stakeholders and clients, aiming to maximize engagement and achieve high-quality outcomes.

Challenges you’ll love:
* Delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe;
* Building relationships and interacting with clients and stakeholders to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise;
* Providing innovative tax planning solutions and a 360º risk assessment;
* Identify and mitigate tax risks;
* Co-working with the accounting team in filling all the tax obligations;
* Manage tax provision and tax compliance process;
* Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices;
* Manage and coordinate tax audits.


What you need to shine in this role:
* Proven work experience as a Tax Business Partner of at least 5 years. Previous experience in an audit firm will be a plus;
* Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns, specially corporate income tax and value added tax;
* Knowledge of MS Office and SAP;
* Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems;
* Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships;
* Strong personnel management skills;
* Analytical skills with detailed oriented;
* BA in Accounting / Tax / Audit or MA in Taxation.
