As a member of our Digital Core, you lead our team of Computer Vision specialists that develops key methodologies and tools for improve decision - making for applications along the value chain, such as manufacturing and field service, closely coupled with domain know-how. You partner with business stakeholders to apply and implement these new solutions into business processes and work closely with our innovation team to identify new opportunities and prepare research proposals, support internal competence build - up and roll - out across Siemens Energy, and drive collaboration within a partner ecosystem across industry and academia.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead our global team of Computer Vision professionals enabling our business areas and functions to develop, apply, and implement tailored solutions.
• Develop foundational enterprise capabilities in the field of computer vision, working closely with our internal R&D teams and external partner network across industry and academia.
• Collaborate with digital and data analytics teams across Siemens Energy supporting computer vision solution development and implementation.
• Support the internal competence build - up in the field of computer vision through technical training programs, know - how sharing, and regular stakeholder communication

What You Bring

• Advanced degree in computer physics, mathematics, or related field with a profound understanding of machine learning and computer vision technologies.
• At least 10 years of experience in digital innovation, ideally combined with leadership experience in an industry environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and translate business needs into technical specifications and innovation proposals.
• Strong interpersonal skills, customer focus, open - mindedness and willingness to learn, ability to navigate easily in a multidisciplinary, multinational, global environment including external partners.
• Experience working across global organizations and teams through strong collaboration, communication, relationship building and influencing skills.
