As **HR Technical Lead – Workday** , you will be accountable for the technical strategy, architectural integrity, and operational excellence of the organization's Workday ecosystem. You will provide technical leadership across Workday modules, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, sustainable, and aligned with evolving business needs.
You will partner closely with HR, IT, business leaders, integration teams, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to design, govern, and continuously optimise Workday and associated HR systems. Your focus will be on delivering enterprise‑ready, user‑centric solutions that meet the highest quality standards.
**Your Role:**
* Owning the technical roadmap and architectural governance for Workday across all modules.
* Translating business requirements into scalable, enterprise‑grade Workday solutions covering configuration, integrations, reporting, and security.
* Designing and maintaining high‑level and detailed technical documentation as part of the HR technology knowledge base.
* Ensuring Workday solutions comply with security, data protection, and enterprise architecture standards.
* Representing HR technology solutions in architecture review boards and governance forums.
* Providing oversight and quality assurance of Workday operational support delivered by MSPs or internal teams.
* Monitoring SLAs, operational KPIs, data quality, and overall service stability.
* Reviewing and approving configuration changes, security updates, integrations, reports, and mass data loads.
* Leading service reviews, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Overseeing Workday release management, regression testing, and environment readiness.
* Partnering with IT and integration teams to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
* Supporting complex issue resolution and driving long‑term, sustainable technical solutions.
* Advising stakeholders on Workday capabilities and communicating technical changes in a business‑friendly way.
* Identifying opportunities for automation, user experience improvement, and platform optimization.
* Contributing to HR transformation initiatives and future Workday enhancements.
* Defining and evolving the Workday support operating model to ensure long‑term sustainability.**Your Background:**
* A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 7\+ years of experience in HR technology roles, with strong hands‑on expertise in Workday.
* Solid knowledge of Workday configuration, integrations, reporting, and security.
* Proven experience designing end‑to‑end Workday solutions in large, global organizations.
* Experience managing HRIS service delivery and working with MSP or vendor‑based support models.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
* Fluency in English.**Nice to have:**
* Workday certifications (HCM, Talent, Reporting, Integrations, Security, or similar).
* Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
* Experience supporting Workday talent processes such as Recruiting, Talent, or Compensation.
* Exposure to global operating models and multi‑regional HR processes.
* Experience designing or overseeing integrations between Workday and enterprise applications.**Why join us ?**
