Established in 2021, Consort Portugal supports the strategic offshoring choices of our clients, particularly in Europe, and brings our expertise in infrastructure services to the Portuguese market. With a team of around 45 employees, our Service Center based in Porto is developing a dynamic nearshore business, offering the French and European markets an environment of excellence and high potential.

Technical Leader

This is your mission

Are you passionate about defining robust architectures, leading technical excellence and mentoring development teams? Then this position is for you.

As a Technical Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the functional and technical consistency of IT solutions, guaranteeing service continuity and driving continuous improvement within our ecosystem.

Build side:

* Define, co-build and communicate the target architecture of IT solutions
* Lead the technical design, modeling and implementation of complex applications
* Participate in Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate architectural choices
* Ensure compliance with quality, security and architectural standards
* Contribute to the definition of the architecture strategy and technical vision
* Optimize code quality, maintainability and scalability
* Produce and maintain clear and detailed technical documentation

Run side:

* Ensure sustainability, consistency and performance of existing applications
* Act as a technical reference for development teams and stakeholders
* Review code and deliverables according to quality, efficiency and security standards
* Support teams in resolving complex technical issues
* Capitalize on experience to continuously improve practices and efficiency
* Share knowledge through coaching, training and technical guidance

You have solid experience in demanding enterprise IT environments, working on complex and large-scale applications. You enjoy shaping technical solutions, solving challenging problems and continuously improving systems. You have at least 7 years of experience in demanding IT environments, with a strong background in application development and architecture. You thrive in roles where you can combine hands-on technical expertise, architectural thinking and team leadership, while contributing to long-term technology strategy.

This is your expertise:

* Java (11 / 17 / 21), J2EE, Web Applications
* Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Cloud Vault
* API design and integration (APIGEE is a plus)
* Agile frameworks and tools: Jira, Octane, Confluence
* DevOps \& testing tools: GitLab, Jenkins, JUnit, JFrog Artifactory
* Quality \& security tools: SonarQube, Fortify, Nexus
* Databases: Oracle, MongoDB
* Architecture patterns and complex application implementation
* BDD methodology
* Cloud application development
* MQ and CFT technologies
* Enterprise Architecture knowledge (TOGAF is a plus)
* Experience using AI assistants in software development
