Technician Production Support

This is your mission

Are you passionate about financial markets, low‑latency systems and production excellence? Then this position is for you.

As a Technician Production Support, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance and continuous improvement of a global electronic trading platform, working at the heart of modern equity markets.

Build side:

• Design, build and enhance monitoring and observability solutions to proactively detect issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement of production processes and support tooling
• Participate in deployment of production changes, ensuring platform integrity and minimal service disruption
• Collaborate closely with development teams to improve system reliability and resilience
• Support automation initiatives through scripting and tooling improvements

Run side:

• Monitor and support the cash equities execution platform to ensure high availability and performance
• Manage production incidents, including diagnosis, coordination, resolution and post‑incident analysis
• Provide rapid and high‑quality support to trading desks and external clients
• Perform detailed incident reporting and follow‑up to maintain high service levels
• Work closely with traders, developers and other stakeholders during critical market situations

You have experience in demanding production or trading environments where stability, responsiveness and precision are critical. You enjoy working close to the business, learning complex systems and contributing to environments where technology directly impacts financial markets.

This is your expertise:

• Unix / Linux operating systems
• Application Production Support in complex environments
• Scripting: Shell, Python, Perl (or similar languages such as C, C++ or Java)
• Networking fundamentals and protocols (TCP / UDP)
• Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL / MariaDB, KDB/q
• Messaging systems: Tibco, Solace, IBM MQ, LBM, Kafka
• Log management tools: Splunk, ELK, Graylog, Loki
• Monitoring & observability: ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana
• Network monitoring tools such as Corvil
• Basic SQL knowledge
